Dear members of our six town community,
On April 8, 2020, the Harwood Unified Union School District (HUUSD) Board hosted its first online meeting using the Zoom application.
The Board discussed options for the Fiscal Year 2021 budget, but decided to take no action at this time. Instead, the Board agreed to address the budget re-vote at its next meeting on April 29th, when the implications of the current public health crisis and related decisions by the Vermont Legislature may be clearer.
The earliest there would be a public re-vote to approve a school district budget would be in June 2020. Constituents are encouraged to email the Board at [email protected] to share any thoughts, concerns, or recommendations about the budget re-vote.
