From Caitlin Hollister (chair) and Torrey Carroll Smith (vice-chair):
After several months of adding meetings to our calendar, we are able to take a meeting off the schedule this week. Having heard from several board members that they would be unavailable on the 19th, and considering the frequency of the last couple months of Board meetings, we reached out to David Epstein of TruexCullins to see if we could make some adjustments to the bond presentation dates and still keep our bond timeline on track. Once we saw that we could adjust our schedule, we decided to cancel this week’s board meeting.
While we will not meet this week, we want to make sure to note a few things:
We will plan to take up the motion from last week (which refers to a potential post-Town Meeting Day committee) at our very next regular board meeting on March 11th. That 3/11 meeting will start with board re-organization.
Our next assembly will be the HUUSD Annual Meeting on March 2nd at 6PM in the Harwood Union Library. All are welcome to join us for this meeting, which will include a budget presentation.
