We hope that you are preparing for a safe and healthy winter holiday. In the last week, a number of our schools have seen an increase in absences from respiratory illness including those with the flu as well as flu-like symptoms.
The Harwood Unified Union School District continues to carefully review all COVID-19 guidance from the Vermont Department of Health. In addition, the district seeks information from medical experts from around Vermont to inform district practices.

Mary Edith and I arrived at our new home in South Duxbury on June 29th and have now completed most of the unboxing of our belongings. This place now feels like home to us. As we drive in the six towns that make up this school district and continue to meet people, we are reminded on a daily basis that we made the right decision to be here.
