New Student Registration 2025-26 (this year)

This page is for registering a student for school now - June. 

If your student will start attending NEXT YEAR, go to this page.

BIRTHDATE INFORMATION FOR ENROLLING STUDENTS

  • Students must be 3 years old on or before September 1, 2025 to register for preK.
  • Students must be 5 years old by September 1 of the enrolling year for admission to kindergarten and 6 years old by September 1 of the enrolling year for admission to first grade.

REQUIRED REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS

The documents below are required to complete registration, and uploading them during online registration is preferred. 

  • Proof of age (birth certificate)
  • Proof of residency: Property tax bill, mortgage agreement, renter's agreement/lease, or utility bill 
  • Immunization record

OTHER INFO YOU'LL NEED DURING REGISTRATION

  • Current address, email address, and phone numbers of emergency contacts

CURRENTLY ENROLLED PREK STUDENTS

  • Currently enrolled preK students do NOT complete new student registration.
    • Currently enrolled preK students need to complete this form by March 31, 2026.
    • Currently enrolled preK students attending both public and private preKs will need to complete returning student registration when it launches in August. Look for an email from the HUUSD in August.
