PreK-12 Planning in the HUUSD


Over the last several months and continuing into the fall, the HUUSD School Board has been working to develop a preK-12 master plan for the district. This is a multi-staged and multi-pronged process with, frankly, a lot of moving parts. 

In addition to needing to stage a series of decisions that move thinking and exploration from general to specific, and from many choices to fewer choices, we have been collecting a great deal of data to help guide our understanding. This page on our website is an effort to locate as much information about the process and the research as we can in one place.

If you are new to this process, we suggest starting with the links below (Background, Timeline & Process, and Public Feedback) to get a good overview of the discussions, thinking, and data that have been driving our work. If you are looking for a particular document, it may be easier to find those in the Quicklinks menu at right.

We expect this collection will explain where we’ve been and where we are going, and what we’ve been learning along the way. By providing our community with the same information we are considering, we hope to enable the public to participate meaningfully and thoughtfully in the process.
